I just noticed that the dip switch settings for the lives of this game doesn't always agree with what the game gives you. The official settings are to have it set to 3 lives, but with this setting most people seem to start with 2 extra lives. I guess since most people have been playing with 2 extra lives that is the official way to play. I noticed lordBBH was recently playing games starting with 3 extra lives and had to set the dip switch to 2 lives (which isn't the official dip switch setting) so that he started with 2 lives like everyone else.
I have been playing with the dip switch set to 3 lives but the game has been giving me 4 extra lives and I didn't realize this was any different from how other people were playing until now. Is it possible to just count my current high score game as being over as soon as I am down to 1 extra life? If that is done then my score becomes 80200 instead of 85600.
Edit: Ok, I just found Bill's post about the botanic settings and it looks like my score can count as 80200.
