There are two versions of Rushn Attack and I am am curious which on you have. The Green Beret/ Rushn Attack with 4 different screens or the one that came out with six different screens?

6 levels? Are you talking about Playchoice or NES versions. I never heard of a 6 level version other than those possibly. Have not played the NES version since it was new but I think it had 6. Could be wrong though.

Yeah 6 different screens. I think it originally came out for the NES but I've seen it on the Playchoice machines also. The playability is slightly different on the original 4 and the colors are different.

There are indeed two versions.
The original "Green Beret" version has only four levels which loop, only one player plays at a time, and the music is just a cadence drum in the background.
The NES/Playchoice version does have six levels, but the game ends after six, two players can play at the same time, and it has a small handful of exclusive soundtracks. (which by the way still sound pretty good today)

Galloping Ghost has the Green Beret version, with 4 levels that loop.
I'm not sure what you're trying to imply by terming Matt's world record "so-called"?
