25 YEARS OF ENTERTAINMENT!

DeKalb, IL (January 11, 2010) – Fighting in a boxing match, saving the universe from
space aliens, or finding your way through a maze while avoiding ghosts has been the
norm at Star Worlds Arcade now for 25 years! This is almost unheard of today in the
video game industry.

Patrick O’Malley of DeKalb, IL started Star Worlds Arcade when he acquired too many
games to fit in his parents’ garage. “My parents wanted the games and all my friends
out of their house,” O’Malley says. Star Worlds Arcade opened in 1985 in the small
town of Maple Park, IL and later moved to its current location at 1234 E Lincoln Hwy. in
DeKalb, IL. Star Worlds Arcade has been described by James McGovern of
Retrogaming News as “a living time capsule of classic arcade games and atmosphere.”

Star Worlds Arcade has always been a quaint arcade dedicated to offering video games
and pinball games that are clean and well maintained for their customers. They have
been covered in newsprint, local TV, Gameroom Magazine, participated in a national
video arcade campaign, and has been blogged about in numerous on-line video game
related web sites.

Star Worlds will be offering up many great promotions this year celebrating 25 years of

This will be a quad week tournament with a
showdown shootout at the end to determine the best big shot!
The tournament will run in 4 one-week segments, the top player from each
week will be asked to play in the final shoot out.

Top prize is
1:24 scale stock car, Scooby Doo/Jeff Green collectable car
and a Revell Terry Labonte 1:64 collector's car.
Prize value $75.00

Week One Begins 3pm March 9th, ends March 14th 8pm

The Black Hawk Motel is not in the database yet. Should it be? And if so, what all games are in it? I definitely see DK and can hear TMNT in the background(is it just two players or are players 3 and 4 on the other side?). I could probably make out a few more from the vid you submitted on youtube. I definitely heard Super Pac-Man... did it come from that cocktail table behind the Judge Dredd prototype?
