Pinball Hall of Fame
on 9/20/2012 10:41:37 AM
Hey guys, I am on my way to Vegas today and was wondering if anybody can confirm that it is still open. This should be one of the highlights of the trip and it would be awful if they folded. Thanks.

Have a great time, Fred. Don't know if they're still open but make sure you check out Lotus of Siam for Thai!

Everything I'm looking at suggests they are still open. They last tweeted Aug 15th and there's no news story of them closing or anything.

Yeah, a premier location like that better be open! :)

There's a game store next door to it with some arcade games in there. Be sure to check it out too. Maybe compare that list with the list on this site? It's probably asking alot to do the same with the Hall-of-Fame.

Just a reminder. There's probably alot more arcades in Vegas than what the database has. If you see any, let us know! We could also use updates to existing entries too.

Looks like they were just featured on the History Channel's American Restoration last week, and there's talk about a pinball expo coming up. Yes, it definitely looks like the place is very much in business.

I'd still assume that it's open, but I haven't been in over a year. I'm heading back in a month and this is going to be a stop for me too, so drop a line to confirm that it's still there. Also, check out the pin collection in the Riviera Hotel on the North Strip. They have overflow machines that belong to the Pinball Hall of Fame.

Just got back from Vegas and yes it is still open. There were a lot of great pins and classic games to play. I even got the old lady to play a few. If anybody is in the area you should take the time to go.

The PinPin Anti-Drain Tournament happened there a couple of weeks ago, with a Ladies-Only tournament that Sunday.
Part of the problem is that Tim is ALWAYS fixing games, and there are a LOT of games to fix!
My friend Cody from 904 Pinball was just there last week helping Tim fix games.
I know my wife prefers me to be here if we're in Vegas. It takes a long time to lose $10 there, as opposed to casinos. We'll go to Ellis Island for dinner and microbrews (the barbecue is first-rate, the restaurant is excellent, and their house brews are all very good), but as for me, screw the Strip! Find me here!
