The 8-Bit Arcade has opened in Renton, WA!

Renton, Washington had this wonderful retrocade back in the late 1990s when I moved to the area. Then Panda Express bought them out and that was that for Renton's arcade scene. Until now. Close enough to the heart of downtown Renton as makes no difference is a new arcade called the 8-Bit. Less than 1000 feet to the west is a comic book shop. Across the street is a sports bar with really good food. Which is owned by the same people who just opened the 8=Bit. Not too long ago the Replay Cafe in Everett closed under less-than-honorable circumstances. Because of this more games were able to be routed to the 8-Bit. So they've opened up with 78 games total. It's a great place. They have beer from Big Al Brewing brewed just for them (Pinball Porter is really tasty! Big Al is really getting the hang of things now!) and wine. Open daily 1100-0200. All ages until 2200. Atari Superman. Wow. Really enjoyed playing that game again. Domino Man. Whoa. Hey, Sid Seattle! Let's meet up there!
