Arcade Wars is the premiere global arcade game high-scoring competition which has players competing against other arcade gamers in a monthly scoring event! Each month a different game is featured, with the TOP 3 scores from each venue averaged as the final score for that arcade location. There is no cost to participate, scores must be achieved on only one credit.

The largest arcade in the country in Brookfield, IL will reveal its one thousandth video arcade game on Monday, August 12th at 5:00pm to streamed live on http://twitch.tv/gallopingghostarcade. Doc Mack, who has hosted every Monday Mystery Game live-stream minus one since its inception with the introduction of Missing in Action as the first MMG years ago will unveil this latest milestone. The Monday Mystery Game has been a regular feature every Monday for the past several years starting with Missing In Action as the very first reveal and formerly the 10x championship was contested where players would compete for the high score of the night on each game until 10 victories or 30 points were secured to determine a champion.



But that's not all, during the weekend of August 9th to the 11th will be the TENTH annual T20 tournament - where players will grind away on twenty different games for high scores seeking ranking points to determine a new champion. There will also be a five game themed side tournament apart from the main tournament. Prizes will be awarded to the top three players as well as whomever comes up on top in the side tourney. Justin "Zerst" Kvithyll has so far won eight out of the nine T20 tournaments, Steven Lucas won T20 in 2020.

Finally a new gamer of the year will be crowned on August 13th, 2024 as part of Galloping Ghost's 14th anniversary.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of the founder of Funspot in Weirs Beach, NH, Bob Lawton. He inspired and entertained kids of all ages for decades with the long history of Funspot and the American Classic Arcade Museum. He will be missed.

The largest arcade in the country in Brookfield, IL will reveal its eight-hundredth video arcade game on Monday, December 21st at 5:00pm. Doc Mack, who has hosted every Monday Mystery Game live-stream since its inception with the introduction of Missing in Action as the first MMG years ago will once again emcee this event. Galloping Ghost celebrated its ten anniversary this past August with the reveal of quite possibly the holiest of grails in Sega's R360.
