I'm not in the tourney (i have too slow of a computer to stream and play at the same time), but I had to give this game a try, since so many people seemed to hate it. I actually found that I really love it. After 45 mins, my score is 39,820. I average about 30k, so I think I can still significantly improve on this. The way I see it, this game actually looks marathonable, but that may take some time to find the right patterns/pseudo-patterns for each board (assuming they are slightly different each time). I think I'll mess with this game some more (I have some other strategy ideas I need to still practice the skills for that may be more efficient) and try for 100k or something.

Upped my score to 63,350! I almost made it to the 5th board. Too bad i couldn't stream it...I took some pics for posterity, though, if anyone wants to see.

Head On is 100% patternable, I'm assuming this probably is as well.

I believe so too, Steve. However, there is a bit of initial randomness, so it would be like seeing and reacting to the various tank waves on Tron. You could definitely go the slow route not building a train (going clockwise) and get like 4k a stage, but that would be a long game and require a lot of pattern learning. Watch Ben's video to see the basic gist of the pressing strategy him and I have been working on. So far, I've been able to come up with a semi-risky/tedious method for getting 15k on the first stage, but I usually take a very safe route and get like 13.5k. My best is 40.2k on one man, so unless someone figures out a method for finishing an entire wave with a full train, about 80k is the limit.
