Things to watch out for 2/26/10 Flashback Friday

Justin Dean-Will be going for the DK3 RK (Richie Knuckelz) socre. He got 1m plus at my house this week


Steve Wagner- is one of the best arcade gamers around. He will most likely up one or more of his own scores and is getting real close to the Journey RK score.

Charlie Ricketts- is a great primal rage player is will be going for a a PB in Star Wars, he will be going for 2m

JJ Cahill- I will be going for a Crazy Kong Kill Screen. Last week I got 426,700 and died on Lv.18 Rivets.

Jamie Cahill- Will be going for Congo Bongo. Has the WR in Turbo hard settings for the arcade( done at Richie's) and has the WR for MAME on hard and easy settings.

Robby Cahill- Will be trying to up his T&F score. He is only 13 years old and is a 90 player!

Jo Jo Simoncelli- Is the one of the WR for 2 player 1943 done at last year's FunSpot Contest. He should be going for the 1943 RK score.

Dan Garofalo- Is a friend of JoJo and has the RK score in 1943

Ed Palamar- Went to more Flashback Friday's than Richie! He only missed 1 since the arcade open. Ed should be going to up his Pac Plus or Kangaroo. He is also a 1m player in Dig Dug

Andy Beck- Another hard core local at Richie's. Has a perfect score in Dragon Lair for DAPHANE. He is also a great Saten Hollows player

Shawn Howllet- Is the RK score holder in Crossbow and Cheyenne. He is also a good at Chiller and the other games on that machine.

2/26/10 Flashback Friday

High Scores:

Steve Wagner got the RK high score on Journey with a score of 404k.

Ed Palamar got 62k in Kangaroo.

I left early so I'm not sure if any other good scores went down.

Games:

Richie just put in a new Galaga multi game.

Richie had this game for awhile but never a cab, so now Richie has a D2K cab with joystick panal too. It's real nice looking.

Richie has a Williams Multi Game in the place now

I just remember I almost beat my best in 1943 Kai I got 1.639m. Is that a real arcade game or is only on multi boards and MAME?

You should check out the movie 90% of the scenes in the game are taken from. It's actually a really great animated film. I'll bring it next Friday for you to borrow if you like.

Yes. But the "Feet" button on Richie's cab is mapped to the Player 1 button on the Daphne. There is lag when you input the player 1 button, which is "Feet" on the Cliff Hanger so there are 2 spots in the game where you have to basically go Track and Field on the Player 1 button or it will result in a failed attempt and lost life. It can be beaten on the Daphne cab but it requires some degree of luck that the input registers fast enough on the 2 scenes that require a "Feet" action right at the very beginning of a scene.

Richie has Hang-On back in the arcade.

One score that will be up soon is Shwan Howlett's 12m plus on Chiller done on a multi board. He ended his game on his own.

Also, Ben Falls got a Crazy Kong Kill Screen on Sunday the March 21 with a score of 566,800.

Robby Cahill scored 90,560 in T&F.

Steve Wagner scored 107k in Scramble.
